Fiber Optics

Fiber Optic cable which is used for communication (voice and data) applications can generally be placed in one of two broad categories Single Mode and Multi Mode. Single Mode fiber is used for long haul and exceptionally high bandwidth applications. Multi Mode fiber is commonly used for intra-facility cabling. It supports a wide range of applications and is relatively easy to install. On occasion we incorporate the use of Multi Mode fiber for networks with the distance or bandwidth requirements. We have the experience with the cable and the components such as transceivers and converters.
